Droom Stage’, ‘Dream Internships’ is for students seeking a professional
training period or assignment in the Caribbean. Nowadays
many students are venturing out to foreign destinations in search of the
perfect internship experience. Besides looking good on your resume an
international internship enhances your social and cultural skills, which is
useful in today’s growing multicultural society.
Students however often encounter many
problems and delays when trying to arrange an International internship on their
own. To make their International Internship Dream possible, ‘Dream Internship’ developed an internship
package. The package includes services such as: a professional training
company, housing, guidance during your stay, etc. Our package prices are
affordable and you pay only after you have been offered an internship contract.
You can reject an internship offer without financial consequences! All ‘Dream
Internship’ assignments are at professional established companies with trained
staff to guide you during your internship period.
Internship package
Our Internship package includes the following:
- Arranging an established professional
company that meets your university’s requirements and all paper work
involved.
- Arrange affordable housing in accordance
with local norms, safety and quality.
- A work permit (exclusively for Jamaica)
- An introduction meeting with your mentor
at the internship company.
- Regular contact with our local agent
during your stay on the island.
- De transfer from the Airport to your
apartment when you arrive on the island.
- A welcome package with basic necessities.
- Telephone helpdesk for students and
parents during the internship period.
- Monthly remuneration. Our aim is that all
companies that we work compensate our students with a monthly “salary”. However we cannot guarantee
that all companies are able to do so. The students are always informed
beforehand if this is the case.
- A replacement company. It is possible that
during your internship period the unexpected occurs such as fire,
bankruptcy etc. By calamities we do our best to help you find a substitute
internship company, however we cannot always guarantee that we can find a
substitute company!
Internship package cost
The price of the
internship package depends on the destination you choose. For some destinations
the price is determined by how long you stay on the island (higher permit
cost). You will be charged the package cost only after you have been offered an
internship contract at the company. ‘Dream Internships’ work with the “No cure
No pay” system. This means that if we are not able to find a suitable company
for you, you will not owe us anything.

students only in need of housing can contact us for our alternative prices.
